Abstract

The article examines digitization as a fundamental direction of modernization of the public administration system and a strategic factor in increasing the efficiency of the modern state. It is noted that digital transformation is not just a technical transition from paper media to electronic forms, but a comprehensive rethinking of approaches to the work of government bodies and their interaction with society. The paper analyzes how the introduction of innovative technologies ensures openness, transparency and efficiency of management decision-making, while minimizing corruption risks due to the significant limitation of the influence of the human factor on information processes. It is noted that for Ukraine, digitalization has become not only a technological trend, but also a tool of state stability, which made it possible to adapt the management system to the challenges of a full-scale war.The components of this process are considered: from e-governance and automation of internal procedures to the development of e-democracy and the use of the potential of Big Data for decision-making based on real evidence. The effectiveness of the implementation of the latest information technologies by public administration bodies is substantiated, in particular, in Ukraine there is "Diya", which combines more than 100 electronic services for citizens, the Prozorro transparent procurement system, and other technologies that fundamentally changed the logic of the functioning of the state in a smartphone, which provide for the availability of electronic services through mobile applications in a 24/7 mode. It is proposed to define digitalization priorities, create a road map, develop a single platform for interdepartmental interaction and circulation of digital data. The prospects for developing these priorities at the current stage have been assessed.
